QUEEN’S ABSOLUTE GREATEST PROMO - JONO & DANO
Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the draw is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, WA and NT residents of Australia aged 10 years and over. Employees of mcm syndication and their immediate families, associated agencies of mcm syndication and companies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion.
3. The competition commences on Monday 2nd November 2009 at 12:00 PM (AEST) and all entries must be received before Friday 13th November 2009 at 1:00PM (AEST).
4. To enter, participants must go to www.jonoandano.com.au click on the contact us link and tell us in 25 words or less their favourite Queen song of all time and why..
5. Responses will be read and judged daily by a judging panel at mcm entertainment, Level 1, Building 210, The Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, NSW 2021 at 2.00pm on each of the following days: Monday 9th November, Tuesday 10th November and Wednesday 11th November 2009. The winners will be notified by phone. Winners will be determined on their creativity.
6. The two most creative entries each day from Monday 9th November and Tuesday 10th November, will be selected to participate in a Queen trivia contest during the daily show. In the result of a tie at the end of the trivia competition, there will be a playoff question to determine the winner.On Wednesday 11th November, the four most creative entries will be selected to participate in a music trivia contest during the daily show. On Thursday 12th November, the carry over champions from the Monday and Tuesday shows will compete against one another for a spot in the final play-off, and the two carry over champions from the Wednesday show will also compete against one another for a spot in the final play-off on Friday 13th November 2009. The two remaining finalists will play off on Friday 13th November for the major prize.
7. All on-air trivia participants will receive a copy of Queen’s ‘Absolute Greatest’ album valued at $29.95 (8 x winners in total). The on-air trivia participants’ prize pool is valued at $239.60.
The major prize winner (Grand champion) will be awarded a guitar signed by Brian May (of the band Queen) valued at $1,000.00 and a copy of Queen’s ‘Absolute Greatest’ album valued at $29.95.
The total maximum value of the prize pool is $2,269.55.
8. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not exchangeable or transferable.
9. Prize values are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value. If the prizes are unavailable for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of similar value.
10. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
11. Should an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to the Promoter.
12. mcm media and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit. Once prizes have left Promoter's premises, the Promoter will not be responsible for any delay in delivery, or failure of safe delivery of prizes.
13. The promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address, and/or proof of entry validity. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit their prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
14. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this promotion but no further use of this information will be made without prior consent. Entrant’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
15. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any direction given under the Lottery and Gaming Regulation 1993 (SA), and state permit regulation.
16. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to State Regulation.
