The Motown Event

This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Motown – America’s greatest record label and global music icon. To mark this momentous occasion, the legends of Motown music have united in a once off world premiere event.

The Motown Event will star THE FOUR TOPS, THE TEMPTATIONS, MARY WILSON OF THE SUPREMES, MARTHA REEVES & THE VANDELLAS, and THE MIRACLES – artists who delivered some of the biggest hits of their era and shaped music as it is today. The performance will also star SIX TIME GRAMMY NOMINATED American artist JOAN OSBORNE, and iconic Australian soul singer and guitarist IAN MOSS, and very special guest JIMMY BARNES.

The Beach Boys Australian Orchestra Tour

Celebrate the sounds of summer with one of America’s greatest rock and roll bands, The Beach Boys! The Boys will be kicking off their national Australian tour on the 29th of January and will be touring with some of Australia’s finest Symphonies.

The Edinburgh Military Tattoo is in town!

Following the outstanding success of The Edinburgh Military Tattoo - A Salute to Australia in 2005 attended by over 150,000 people, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo returns to the Sydney Football Stadium in February 2010 to celebrate its 60th anniversary year.

With over 1,500 performers from around the world, including Massed Pipes and Drums, Highland Dancers and the stirring Lone Piper, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo is set to be the biggest tattoo ever to be staged.

The new show will be titled The Edinburgh Military Tattoo – Celebrating 60 years of Valour, Mateship, Glory and will feature international bands from the UK, USA, Switzerland, China, Norway, Russia, Trinidad and Tobago and New Zealand as well as Australian bands from each of the Defence Forces and from every state.
